![]() ![]() I found the Aoba to be a worse ship then the Cleveland. I guess my ultimate question is: What is the role of this ship? It doesn't seem to have any. I played with some better players and they have informed me that I should stick to battleships and use them as meat shields while you attack the enemy but that involves praying that you do not get the sniper BBs (which is like 99% of them) so what other tactics would some of you recommend? I try sticking to islands but that means I cannot be running AA duty either. Time to move on to getting this ship down. Its also slower than the Aoba and both have very similar AA capabilities (Defensive Fire). In this ship, I am forced to stay at max range and watch my shells hilariously do 0 damage because long range shots are basically luck. In that ship, I just stayed at max range spamming HE and focusing down destroyers when I had the chance. The Aoba is a damn cake walk compared to this ship. Its also the first ship to get focused every freaking time combined with combined with that armor problem and you get a really frustrating time. Also why did they nerf the panic on defensive fire? Its all its good for smh. Its "good" AA couldn't keep a Ryujo off one of my CV allies even with defensive fire. Its got enough armor to make AP and HE hurt a hell of a lot but not enough to bounce any form of AP except for the most extreme angles. ![]() The gun arcs are really bad making HE mandatory at everything past like 8km. ![]() Why is the Cleveland such a pile of hot garbage? It gets citadeled by a sneeze. ![]()
